Shoppers Drug Mart wanted to reinvent its popular 10 Million strong but 15-year-old loyalty program, Optimum.
The program's well established value proposition (earning and redeeming points for free stuff) needed to make the transition into digital. Enhancements enabled users to sign in online (or in the app), load offers to their card (physical or digital) and redeem them in-store. Members could also check points balance and donate points to charity.
There was both a responsive site (shown here) and an app by another vendor.
A complex project to oversee with multiple vendors, internal stakeholders, legacy data, this was a major foray into digital coupons for Shoppers Drug Mart.
